CUB SCOUTS |
A new year dawns (and time to remove those Millennium badges from uniform’) and it looks like being just as busy as 2000. Please refer to the Calendar of Events overleaf for the first selection of dates for the months ahead. Our Computer and Communicator Badge afternoon starts off the District events -any more offers of help with this will be welcome (to either Toni Mitchell or Steve L’Estrange please.) |

UNIFORM REVIEW |
The decisions taken by the Council on the 13th December in respect of the new uniforms is summarised below. It was the result of nearly 46,000 responses to the questionaire and there are several significant changes from the original proposals. Supplies of the new uniforms should be available by early Summer. A public launch of the new designs is scheduled for mid-spring. The change-over is not expected to be complete until the end of next year and indeed young people may still continue to wear the existing uniform after 1 Jan. 2003 until they change section. |
