Northwood-Eastcote District has a large amount of archive material, going back over the whole of the history of the District, and for some Groups, the years before that.
In the long-term, a lot of this archive material will be placed here, for all to see - in my view, it is no use to anyone sitting in a box on my shelf gathering dust. The first few items that I have scanned are linked below - they will eventually be sorted into a more user-friendly order. Please note that some documents have been scanned and converted using OCR software, so they may contain mistakes introduced in this process - apologies for this. Also please note that where an address appears on certificates, etc. it may have been digitally 'smeared' out to protect the individual concerned. If there are any serious errors, please let me know.
If you have any material that you feel should be in the District Archives
or that you are otherwise going to throw away,
please let me know and I can arrange to get it from you. I have no wish to
take items from Group archives, merely to ensure that nothing of interest
is thrown away.
